How about somebody else to join that martial artist, bard, knight, and wizard? Nobody ever said that clerics had to be heal-bots . . .

I'll point out that a player who's good at convincing the GM to alter template assumptions and spell lists might be able to argue for replacing the 8 points in Diagnosis, Esoteric Medicine, First Aid, and Surgery with, say, 2 points in each of Armory, Leadership, Strategy, and Tactics, if there's no holy warrior whose toes would be stepped on by that – and for swapping Sunbolt for the slightly more dwarf-appropriate Stone Missile (I'm pretty sure the goddess of shield maidens would approve). Obvious short-term goals for this character would be metal armor and more ST for bashing things (and carrying that armor). But as she stands, she can make a mark on a battle in her own right, especially when she uses Holy Might to get +2 to +12 to ST and/or decides to spend a few FP on Might for another +1 to +5.

Though the party would probably be wise to find another healing option, if she's your cleric.

This seems like taking what should be an standard operating procedure as a quirk. Unless she searches them in the middle of a fight, or when they should be running, in which case I'd think this would be worse than a quirk.

It's a quirk because of the previous quirk. Translation: Here's this very honest and honorable person who would probably have a real problem with thievery and grave-robbing, but when she commits the slain legions of Evil to her goddess for cleansing, she's quietly sweeping the rings and gold fillings into her pocket. In every adventuring party I've played a character in, that would merit the whole one point it garners. ;)

As for looting chests: Of course that's fine. The loot of Evil belongs to Good anyway. But here's an example of how that quirk could bite her! While she's off saying sacrificial prayers and yanking fillings, her associates are cracking open chests and getting into the real treasure. :)

Other than the hypocrisy inherent to crusading in general. Battle not with monsters...

In uncivilized wilderness or a dungeon, you’re free to slaughter monsters and bandits, loot the bodies, and pillage their treasure. You needn’t recognize the "laws" of Evil: dark lords, demons, etc.

What did Evil ever do to deserve this?
