Dungeon Fantasy 12: Ninja seems to be one of the easiest books to integrate with the boxed set. I am not saying it is the only way, just that if we were going off-template anyway and this was a real character someone wanted to play, I would definitely want to give them the option.

Isn't ST 11 1d+2 for a swing?

The character has 13 ST for damage from Mantis Strike, Kromm mentioned it above.

Actually, ST11 is 1d+1 for a swing, but as has been mentioned, Striking ST brings that to 13, so 2d-1.

When I entered this character into GCS, I noticed that it calculated range values for ST 11 rather than ST 13. Does anyone know if this calculation works differently in DFRPG than in regular GURPS? Or is this a programming oversight with the core package? I fixed it by adjusting the damage individually for his thrown/slung weapons. Is there a forum here or elsewhere (or other spot) to bring such issues to the attention of the programmer(s)?

Seems reasonable to me - the -5 to Vision means that threats that aren't immediately and obviously visible have a good chance of catching the character unawares when they're using the googles and flash bombs. So, it's a good trick with a clear downside that makes using it a tactical choice, not something you want to do all the time. That flash bombs can also blind your friends if you aren't careful also discourages over-exuberant use of the trick.

I accidentally toggled it to say Give +2 striking ST *per level*, and Mantis Strike has no levels, so for level 0, it is giving +0. You can fix the advantage manually easily. I'll submit a patch.
If you notice things wrong with the application, you can always go to its website http://gurpscharactersheet.com/ and file a bug report.

People have caught this already, but it's Mantis Strike that's giving you grief (and I gather messing with apps). In short: Mantis Strike raises ST by two levels for damage, so someone with that and ST 11 has effective ST 13 for damage, meaning damage 1d/2d-1 instead of 1d-1/1d+1.

Thanks for the great example Kromm. It's actually Pseudo's game I'm playing in. I just got my DFRPG box and I am learning quite a bit. I hope to someday get a chance to try MA again but for now I really like the swahbuckler Pseudo helped me build.
