Default Kung Fu wizardry, in your personal space

So say your UC II witch of the far east has pinned Glump the Barbaric, what can she do to him?

Drain Strength?

Occult zaps from her silver Dagger of Mastery on her belt?

Geas him?

Word of Command?

Normal UC II attacks?

I love characters who mix spell use with other things, whether it is alchemy or kung fu or whatever. There aren't many PC's in my campaign who do this, but I write up (and use) a lot of NPCs who do.

Re magic use on pinned foes, I think I'd make a ruling that applied the DX penalties to casting spells on someone in HTH, and also consider whether the IQ level of the spell permits casting without elaborate arm motions.

So the spell casting is at -4 DX for being the second thing you do that turn?

How about the occult zaps, +3 innate and another +4 DX for HTH?

I wouldn't have said you can do two normal actions in the same turn, no matter what is going on - RAW is pretty clear about that. So, the start the discussion is that you have to first pin and then next turn decide what you are doing next.

What level of concentration does maintaining a pin require?
