Twenty Prootwaddles march past a nine dice to spot hidden door.
Each one has a 5.96% chance of rolling 23 or less on nine dice. Therefore there is a 70.74% chance that at least one of them will spot it. (Train them by hiding food behind hidden doors.)

Unless the GM is willing to improvise to maintain their desired level of realism, we're going to wind up with a fantasy version of Advanced Squad Leader, and I expect that wouldn't be a commercially viable product. |
