Curse in zombie munchkin

Hello i ve just purchase the zombie munckin pack and we came up to an odd situation.I used a card to steal the winning level from someone i was helping wich the card allowed for the winning level and thus i reached lvl 10.Right after i played it the player i was helping played a card which switched my level with the level of the lowest player can he use that curse after i reach 10 (the question is can u play a curse after someone reaches lvl10?)
