Default Pot-Bellied Werewolf (Skullkickers)

I am slightly new to munchkin, and I just bought the Skullkickers booster set, and well among this card, Pot-Bellied Werewolf, being played it says the following, "If it's after 8pm, he gets a +5, or +10 if the moon is visible." Dangerous question being: What constitutes it being after 8pm? My friends and I were playing this exactly at 12:30 AM and we were curious that with it being midnight it should count, but it also wouldn't because with it being morning it would be a start of a new day.

The rule of this card also states "or +10 if the moon is visible." I also found it funny that the moon wasn't visible either, so the monster acquired no bonus at all.

Sorry for the dangerous question, but I thought it should be asked.

He's a werewolf, so I'm going to say after 8 pm and before dawn.

Thanks, that is what I thought too, but the generality of the card sort of left up for interpretation, which is cool, but at same time causes dangerous, but funny, endless arguments, but this expert ruling does seem to make it make sense.
