Doors and Running Away

Last night I ran two demos and had two questions come up:

Once you move through a locked or secret door, does it turn into a regular door? That is, do you flip the link over to change the door type? Nothing about it in the rules, but the players made a good point about a door no longer being locked or hidden.

Second question is more of a clarification: can you Run Away through a hidden or locked door, assuming the room on the other side is explored?
