Travel let's Aid Society (advantage)
I'm going through the old 3e books, and there doesn't seem to be much about TAS memberships (the advantage, not the magazine).
I think it would be a Claim to Hospitality and Independent Income?

You've got it. Claim to hospitality plus a monthly income equal to the price of whichever passage you get (IDHMBWM).

How much for the advisories about dangers?
And yikes, it's expensive in terms of currency (1M credits).

If you look at it as an investment, it pays a dividend of 6% per year (CT).

A Perk, at most. It's not like it's possible to prevent such information from spreading. I can well see the advisories included in the JTAS package advantage at no extra cost, since the Claim to Hospitality and the Independent Income already costs so many points.

Its up to the GM how he is going to present TAS, and if its only an extra income stream and a few extra die rolls or not. Thats fine, since it gets the job done and might not be a big part of the campaign theme/vision, but it can be played up much more than I've seen it in published adventures. |
