Default On bribing someone for not interfering

Hello guys, I'm Carlo, I'm new to Munchkin and I absolutely love it!
Just a little clarification: me and my friends play by bribing the other players not to interfere in combat, or try to ask for bribes for the same reason.
Like: "if you don't want me to intervene and play this upgrade for the monster, I want 1 trasure".
Or: "if you play a card to help me [even when you are not the guy that fights with me], I'll give you 1 trasure".

Are these things legal?

Giving or taking Items in play would be legal, if the other player agrees. You can't let a player not in the combat pick from a monster's Treasure directly.

Thanks! So it's legal to ask:
"If you don't want me to interfere, I want your item that's on the table" (Even if it's not in use but put sideways, and only if it's an item with a cost in Gold Coins, I presume).
But it's illegal to ask to pick one of the treasures if you are not the one physically helping in the fight by adding your Attack to the other's.

And so in turn, I guess you can't pick the monster's treasures if you agree to help but only with a card, without entering the fight.

Did I understand everything correctly?

A situation came to mind.
Can I ask, for instance: "I'm going to help you now, but next time you are in a fight I want to help you with, you can't refuse my help, and all the treasures will be mine if we win"?

(And obviously, if that happens, the opponent will not be able to cheat its way out by not allowing me to help)

As a note, the 101 forum is for questions about the rules as written, and this is getting very close to house rules territory. I'm answering it here since it's a direct followup to the previous question, but if you want to discuss it further, please start a new thread in the main Munchkin forum.

Any deal except trading levels is legal, but there is no enforcement for anything other than a Treasure split immediately after combat. If you make a deal for future consideration and the other person reneges on that deal later, the rules don't offer any recourse. That's a situation that calls for metagame social consequences: someone who reneges on a deal doesn't get more help from you in that game. And someone who routinely does this, to the point that they're making the game unfun for everyone else, doesn't get invited to play anymore.
