the ultimate disguise
A rarely used option is Vessel Features (GMG p19). Players often don't know it exists, if they do they need GM permission and haggling with their Superior, while using the Features with Vessels made with an essence cache or while in Limbo requires homebrewing costs.
Further, there are only a couple of interesting options anyway - immunity to stunning or granting night vision being the most obvious ones. But: a character who is missing a limb (Crippled/5) could take a Vessel with an extra Arm or Leg...concealing their Discord. This is a trick that can be used on either side of the War, or of the law. Missing legs are probably common in Calabim who've Fallen; the loss of mobility is thematically appropriate to their devolution. The newly Fallen could upgrade their Vessel in Limbo, and now walk past most angels without suspicion. The Dominicans hunting him will likely pass by without a 2nd glance. Should he sign up with Hell, either Secrets or The Game are logical recruiters. As an Asmodean, he can threaten new PCs in Hell before they head out for Corporeal service...and then observe them anonymously on earth. Suspicions will probably only be raised if the Calabite is killed or possessed: - the Vessel will now grow an additional limb. This is an added advantage from the perspective of Asmodeus and Aleamon, immediately identifying Kyriotates and other spies. GMs may be antsy about the cost - adding a limb to a Vessel only costs a point, but cancels out 5 levels of Discord. However remember that it the feature dies with the Vessel, while the Discord lasts forever. Also, a close inspection of the Vessel will reveal the 'stump' of the missing limb, making plane travel etc far too risky: the Discord continues to cause problems. |

Plus, it should be noted, some celestials can detect Discord via attunements, and Discord is always obvious in celestial form.
That said, that's a good trick for the corporeal. (My fave is for Kyriotates to own a level 1 Force-Catcher; they invest a single Force in it and now they have the ability to speak to the rest of the party, even if the rest of them is in 8 squirrels!)

Re: the ultimate disguise
oh that's awesome. And it still protects the holder from Shedim, so you can get a Soldier or mundane to carry it around. Make it a usable item, and the Kyrio can perform Songs elsewhere, and then shift the effects to the trapped Force - very useful for area effect spells.
