Default SpaceShips: Networked Warfare

OK, the concept of fleet wide computer networks to combine firepower is something that comes up from time to time, but what would it's effects be in SpaceShips?

Very little. Most of the problems such a network might address don't exist in the first place in Spaceships rules.

You might allow all ships to benefit from the ECM-cutting effect of Tactical Sensors if any networked ship has them.

Perhaps specifically note that ships are allowed to use Wait (Point Defense) to protect other networked ships.

Certainly you should be able to share things like an engineering analysis for targeting purposes, though that shouldn't really need any special network.

Very few of the real life coordination problems of several units is reflected in spaceships and many of the "network type" things seem to already be in the rules.

The basic SS rules already have things like the whole side be surprised as whole and there are already rules for using point defense on others in formation in SS3 and so on.
