If I've read the forums correctly, monster enhancers can no longer be used to boost a gnome's "illusion" buddy bonus. However, I've not seen this scenario addressed:
Player A is a gnome, uses ability to summon a Level 20 Plutonium Dragon to give him the +20 boost he needs to win his combat. Can Player B toss a "Potion of Disbelief" (a one-shot, not an enhancer) to discard the Plutonium Dragon and rob him of his bonus? I know it's a stretch, but it seems really Munchkiny... |

No. Nor could you play Pollymorph Potion or Magic Lamp.

You definitely can't enhance the monster, so I strongly doubt that you can select it as the target of any other card that relies on it still being a monster either.
Edit: Ah, beaten to it! At least I'm not wrong, though... |

Thanks so much for your answer. I managed to pull that one off the other day to beat my wife (Not... er... beat my... hmm...) to win, I mean. Now I have to admit I was wrong.
Thanks again. |
