No wounding & no knockback ruminations
I have been wondering; if have a burning attack,
Then I give my burning attack the modifiers no-wounding & no knockback, and turn this burning attack into a follow up (universal) for my spear skill. Finally, I stab a log. I know, as per powers 102, that my burning attack might set the log in fire w/o damaging the log (at least during the follow-up “activation”); however: Is my spear going to deal its natural melee damage and knockback? Is the fire going to damage the log after the log is set on fire (following turns)? Thanks,

Re: No wounding & no knockback ruminations
Well firstly, as burning does no knockback anyway, you can't really modify it like that.
As for your spear, it will do its normal damage, and any knockback (there shouldn't be any, as spears normally do impaling, which doesn't knock back). Your burning attack can set the log on fire even if the spear doesn't penetrate, but the burning happens outside the log (which might or might not affect ignition chances, depending on the type of log). And if the log is set on fire, that fire will behave just like any other fire.
