I smell a phase rat
I have several questions about the blink ability. It says it is effectively the blink spell so do the rats need to make a body sense rolls after they use it. Do they pay the fatigue cost like the spell and if so does their skill reduce the cost?

Re: I smell a phase rat
It's listed as "Blink-18," so the intent is for it to function like the spell: Requires an open spot within three yards, counts as a dodge, doesn't change facing, and costs 2 FP. Technically this means it requires a Body Sense roll, but as "the space between dimensions" is essentially these monsters' home, I'd waive this for the same reason that I wouldn't require delvers to make skill rolls after taking each step – but as a tradeoff, they suffer from their special vulnerability to Banish.

Re: I smell a phase rat
Except Blink is a blocking spell and as such doesn't get any cost reduction (see Energy Cost Reduction in Spells p. 9).

Re: I smell a phase rat
Whoops, that's right! I overlooked the spell class. Edited to fix that.
