Default Comprehensive Gallery of Autoduel Vehicle Counters & converting them .

I'm familiar with the two pages of GURPS scale from Autoduel and Car Warriors book , but also seen some more sheets of unique Cars , Bikes & Trikes .

For original two sheets :
https://jeffro.wordpress.com/2013/06...all-the-stops/

Are these 'new' ones recent Photoshop creations ? Not seen them anywhere before , but then I've missed out on many GURPS releases - also seen a fantastic High Tech Hoverbike counter .

Both sets I've are being converted to Car Wars scale counters - in both colour & black & white wireframe - by graphics wizz I know slightly .

Have any other 'Armed Vehicle' counters been used in this way ? After the End , ORGE , Other Worlds etc . We'd love to see them .

The Car Wars scale car, cycle, and truck counters in GURPS Autoduel appeared in various Car Wars products. The scaled-up ones are simply scaled up versions of the green and red cars on the top row in the picture at the link you posted.

There are similarly scaled up counters in Autoduel Champions.

Michael "owenmp" Owen might be along shortly with some of the same info I'm about to present, but you can get a ridiculous amount of counters directly from SJ Games in the following products:

Car Wars Expansion Set 1 - Road Sections and Counters

Car Wars Expansion Set 2

Car Wars Expansion Set 6 - AADA Vehicle Guide Counters. In black and white, so you can print 'em out by the millions and color them -- or Photoshop them in color and then print 'em out -- to your heart's content.

Car Wars Deluxe Edition or Car Wars Deluxe Edition (Car Wars Compendium Upgrade). The latter is if you already have the Car Wars Compendium; the former is if you don't. Includes lots and lots and lots of counters...

Additionally, here are some free counters provided by SJ Games for use with Car Wars 5th edition. They'll be at 3x scale for original car wars.

The scales for the above:
  • Car Wars 5th edition - 3x scale (1" = 5 feet - same as most maps for D&D 3rd edition and beyond)
  • GURPS Autoduel - 5x Car Wars scale (1" = 3 feet)
  • Autoduel Champions scale - 2ish times Car Wars scale (1" = 2m)
  • Original Car Wars scale - 1" = 15 feet (for the sake of completeness)

Thank you Chris Goodwin for the excellent information and the suggestion I may have some useful information.

Chris Goodwin mentioned the main sources of Car Wars counters available. Car Wars counters were also created for The AADA Vehicle Guide Volume 2 and The AADA Vehicle Guide Volume 3.

The two Car Wars Adventure Packs, Midville and Muskogee Mayhem, each had Car Wars counter sheets.

Car Wars Expansion #10: Deluxe Wheelie contained multiple sheets of Car Wars counters from previously-published Car Wars products.

Cardboard Heroes Set 18: Car Warriors did not contain GURPS Autoduel vehicle counters, but it did have a nice selection of GURPS Autoduel pedestrian counters.

The Web page below has hyperlinks to a large number of Car Wars counters that could be enlarged for GURPS Autoduel.

I have seen top-down photographs of Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and other 1/64 die-cast cars on the Internet to be used as Car Wars counters. These images, which I cannot find at the moment, might be able to be enlarged for GURPS Autoduel.

I've seen or collected all those Car Wars Scale Sheets , and as I said , they were new to me . Obviously I recognized 5x Red Hotshot & Green 'Commercial Piranha' with turret .

With the weapons , turrets , armour & spikes , they had old school Car Wars feel to them , some were in garish colours like the old expansion packs to . Unfortunately I saw them on someone else laptop & didn't think to ask for a link to the new images . I'll ask Lightbulb if his friend will be kind enough to send my a link .

One thing that I do love about CW in current times is the shear amount of counters that can be produced with even basic computer tools . My older Nephew is 10 & has already produced a graphic for his bright yellow 'Banana Mobile' three man Convertible Hardtop Reverse Trike ...

but with front mounted Paint Gun ... )
