Default Magic weapon: Returning Thrown Weapon

Hi all.

Good evening.

I wanted to buy a returning thrown axe. The problem is pricing it..and knowing the rules...(does it require specific skill for instance?)

I have already looked at BS ans Dungeon fantasy 1..pg 30..but there are no spells with the "returning" option.

Any suggestions?

Absolutely right and just to be thorough, despite the name it works on axes and any other weapon.

To use this weapon you need Ace/Mace skill for melee and Thrown Weapon:Axe for throwing.

This is a bit of an aside, but I once had a player use his share of enchantment powering star metal to create three loyal flaming hatchets. He would juggle them and throw them, having them return as if an unseen performer were throwing them back. I called it the chainsaw of death. Bloody way to put some light on a subject!

A Loyal Weapon returns to its owner's hand in a Ready condition.

Nah the enchantment covers it's safe return... it will return safely and auto Ready with a Move of 12 unless someone catches it out of the air.
