Default Turrets of missile launchers

I am doing some work on my plastic miniatures set, and now I wondered whether the turrets on the missile launchers can be rotated or not.
All pictures I saw so far have the turrets aligned to the front, but it seems to me they could rotate. What does the lore say on this subject?

The ones I've built so far, I glued some down straight and some at an angle.

I did that with my heavies. 2 turned left, 2 turned right, the rest straight ahead.

I think there may be an illustration somewhere of a Paneuro missile tank with the turret turned to one side launching a missile.

I've seen a lot of micro-magnets used in FFG X-Wing Miniatures, especially on the B-Wing fighters to allow the wing to rotate in different positions around the cockpit.

Has anyone tried using small magnets to mount the turrets? Probably get a metric ton of those magnets at Hobby Lobby for a couple of dollars.

That way you could turn the turrets anyway you wanted to position them.

I didn't magnetize the turrets in my missile tanks, though I did use magnets for all the tank turrets.

Use a little poster putty to hold it in place, That allows for movement.
