Default Search function for these Forums...

I wanted to find any posts regarding the "Jack of all Trades" Advantage from GURPS Traveller (I want to see if anyone has suggested a version of this optional Advantage for GURPS 4th Edition.)

Unfortunately, the Forum's Search function does not give me a means of telling it that I want ONLY those posts having the EXACT PHRASE. (Instead, I got lots and lots of posts with the individual words highlighted throughout the posts...)

I tried:

Jack of All Trades
"Jack of All Trades"
"Jack of All Trades", Traveller (this last one returned nothing at all)

Please advise.
Thanks!
Franklin

I find the second post in particular to be useful information. Thus, it is sticky.

The search function disappears when I type in it on my tablet, but not on a computer in the library. I don't understand why this happens.

It's probably a vBulletin bug. My suggestion is to use Google for searches even on your PC.

I've tried. All it does is bring me to these forums. What am I doing wrong?

yeah the tablet mode has problem with the pop up, click on advance search rather than type in the popup and it works fine on tablet.

Or instead of using Google to search, you can use Duckduckgo.com which has a policy of not tracking you and not selling your data.

Lest someone say I'm advertising a company, I have no legal/financial association with either one, and as the word "google" is essentially advertising a particular company, I feel this is balanced.
