Default Monster Come Forth in Epic

A question arose in my first Epic Munchkin game with my group the other night regarding Monster, Come Forth once you have reached level 10 and kick down two doors at the start of your turn. My group ruled that you keep flipping over cards until you get a monster and then flip over one more after that. I figured this was the correct way to do things as I couldn't see any other possible way of doing it, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks

That is the correct answer.
