Fractions aren't on that list. There's a reason for this.

This is a simple way to do it since the idea of Hardened vs. Armor Divisor modifiers only really start to matter when you regularly have Armor Piercing/Hollow Point Ammo for small arms at TL6. It becomes even more important for Composite (or other high tech/ultratech modifications) Armor vs. HEAT, APDS, and other ammo with serious Armor Divisors which start to appear at TL6 and become commonplace at TL7+.

Allowing anything more than Armor Divisor (5) for TL8- small arms ammo is cinematic, while allowing anything more than Hardened (5) vs. HEAT, etc. (effectively DR with the Hardened enhancement, but Limited limitation) is cinematic for personal armor.

If you're mixing magic & high tech, you might also consider variants of the Puissance enchantment which give Armor Divisors and variants of Fortify which give levels of Hardened.

Are you referring to the spells by those names from Magic (i.e. M65 and M66 respectively)? If so, I don't see and armor divisor / hardened in those.

Or are there traits (advantages/abilities) by those names that I may have overlooked?

The previous poster got the name wrong. It should be 'Penetrating Weapon' (M63). I don't think there's an enchantment for hardening armour in Magic.

For whatever reason GURPS High-Tech p.229 didn't do it this way, and instead just gives DR multiplier vs. HEAT and doesn't use the Hardened trait directly at all.

They meant you should consider creating a spell that does this.

Ah, now I understand. Yes, it's on my radar for KI Adept Powers (~_^) ... Probably wont create a spell doing the same though... (⁽͈˙̑⁾˔̉⁽˙̑⁾͈)˚º꒰꒱

This is right. I forgot that the Penetrating Weapon spell existed.

A hypothetical Harden Armor enchantment could easily be based on the Fortify enchantment, with Armor Divisor (1.5, 2, 5, 10, 20, or whatever) corresponding to the costs for +1 to +5 DR. Alternately, start with a base enchantment cost of 100 to 250 energy for AD (1.5) and double the cost for each "step" of AD increase.

I think it's unfortunate "Armor Divisor" wasn't just an enhancement but also used as a limitation by using fractions, because "Armor Multiplier" for that limitation would've made a lot more sense to me.

There isn't. You might be able to do it temporarily with Path/Book Magic and ISTR something about doing it with an Alchemy variant in Pyramid.

However, as for adapting Penetrating Weapon to higher TLs it already works on Piercing weapons as well as Cutting and Impaling. you just need a variant that includes Burning and maybe even Corrosive. Disintegrators do Corrosive but already ignore armor.
