234) When running a steampunk game, if I inform the players that they hear either a steam or diesel engined vehicle approaching, and one of them says "Is our default stance hitchiking or murder" I am no longer allowed to encourage this type of behavior.

236) I should cut back on the post-combat reveals that indicate the party have murdered a guy just doing his job (a barrier guardian spirit complaining he had two days to retirement as he died, another foe having a "#1 Demonic Dad" coffee mug)

237. Dnd does not work like jrpgs, you are not encourage to cut open your dead opponents to look for treasure. (even if you did find a partially valuable ring inside that ogre.)
238: Just because the bar wench hit my head hard enough to lose an hp does not mean roll for intuitive, especially if the reason she hit me was because I accused of her being a succubus behind her back. 239: No we are not turning around and going back just because I drop some soap back in the troglodyte camp. |
