Default Savant Super -10% S34

What are the comic book examples of Supers with a Savant power modifier?

I used Savant in my Taskmaster build, but I'm not 100% sure he truly fits the PM as written.

Note the two Temp Disads: Oblivious and Incurious (12). I actually can't think of anyone offhand that truly fits.

Kind of reminds me of the late-stage Dr. Manhattan.

Reed Richards. (On his Gadgeteering).

Eh, while Oblivious totally works for that, I really don't see Incurious. If Reed's building a new Negative Zone projector, and a bug during testing actually opens a portal to the Imaginary Zone instead, he's not going to be "Oh, well, gotta fix that.", he's going to go "that's interesting!" and start investigating this new slice of reality.

While true, if Ben and Johnny are roughhousing and making a lot of noise in the background, even if it's in the lab itself, chances are he won't even ask what they're up to. So it's a coinflip.

When testing he's not actually Gadgeteering.

On one level it does appear to be a variation of the 'Chi' power modifier (P26). Both Savant and Chi requires the practioner to get into the zone.

Not that dissimilar to Super and Mutant where they are quite interchangeable.

Otherwise a Savant is just someone who can zone in or super concentrate.

According to wiki 50% of those with Savant Syndrome are Autistic. In film this has been portrayed by Zen in Chocolate and even the Tick.

This is kind of a "borderline super" origin, best suited to streetlevel heroes for the most part. One of my inspirations for it was the portrayal of Holmes in the films Downey starred in. However, the comic book hero Brainiac 5, a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, works pretty well as a Savant.
