Default question on Cthulhu dice play.

When you roll the EYE on a defensive/victim roll is there any strategic advantage to picking TENTACLE, since rolling the tentacle on a defensive roll means you lose sanity? Or if you choose tentacle after rolling eye on a defensive roll is it an exception to this rule? In which case you can take sanity from the aggressor/caster?

A tentacle is a tentacle. Choosing tentacle as your defense is a truly mad strategy indeed bringing you that much closer to inevitable insanity.
