Semi-Resistable Cyclic
If I want a Cyclic attack to allow an HT roll to resist the initial infection, but, not allow rolls to end it early (without the built-in terminal condition of Cyclic), would the right answer be to halve the value of Resistable? Or something more complicated than that?

Re: Semi-Resistable Cyclic
What I would do is use the modifier for Resistible, but DON'T have the Cyclic modifier. That way, if you resist the initial attack/infection you're good. You fail it though and you suffer through all the cycles.

Re: Semi-Resistable Cyclic
Err, if I want something to be contagious and have 7 cycles, I kind of have to pay for Cyclic and Contagious. No GM in their right mind would let me get away with not using those modifiers just because I took a discount for Resistable.

So, Resistible (HT-2, -20%), Cyclic (7 cycles, 1 second, +300%) would mean that the victim gets seven resistance rolls, one at the beginning of each cycle. However Resistible (HT-2, -20%), Cyclic (7 cycles, 1 second, +600%) would mean that the victim gets one resistance roll, and if he fails he suffers seven cycles. And that, honestly, seems utterly fair to me.

Re: Semi-Resistable Cyclic
Pretty sure he meant "don't halve the cyclic modifier".
