Running away from Cerberus
So, we (three of us) just had a very big and very confusing combat, and it ended with two players having to run away from Cerberus. Its Bad Stuff is that you must Run Away three times, and lose a level each fail.
My interpretation of the card is that this Bad Stuff happens only if you fail an INITIAL Run Away roll. So, if you fail the first roll, you'll end up rolling 4 times. But another interpretation is that if you lose the fight, you have to roll three times for each head, and there is no initial run away roll to be able to get out of all of it. In addition, one of the players played Lemming Parade after failing his initial roll. Both of us got -1 on the initial run away (and with Wizard's Flight Spell, were able to get away), but would we also get -1 on the three heads' run aways? I'm thinking no, but, once again, it's pretty confusing. |

Re: Running away from Cerberus
The intent is that you Run Away from Cerberus three times, once for each head. You can't escape the whole thing by rolling well the first time.

Re: Running away from Cerberus
Dang. That's weird, that the Bad Stuff starts happening before a run away roll. Oh well.
And then, with Lemming Parade, all three rolls for the two of us have a -1 penalty? |
