Curse! Income Tax
Hi-ho!
Scenario: Player A draws "Curse! Income Tax" when kicking down the door. Player B plays a card to dismiss the curse and not have to discard an item. Player C claims since the curse was dismissed by Player B they don't have to discard either. Does playing a card to dismiss a community curse when you weren't the one drawing the curse affect just the person playing it or everyone? |

Re: Curse! Income Tax
This is not a general answer for all comprehensive Curses, as some other Curses are written differently, but Curse! Income Tax does not mention being able to cancel just for yourself, so if somebody is playing Wishing Ring to cancel it, I think they would need to cancel the whole Curse and not just the part that hits them.

Re: Curse! Income Tax
It would dismiss the comprehensive curse on all other players even if they played it on themselves and did not gift the card to Player A?

Re: Curse! Income Tax
In this case, yes, because Income Tax doesn't say each player can escape it separately.
