Thanks for the reply - so if I pre-order on W23 I get it the same time as the kickstarter people?

Not that it matters since I am ordering it right away :)

Thanks for the reply, I am so glad to see the return of Triplanetary :)

This is unexpected and wonderful - I remember reading about Triplanetary in a paper copy of Pyramid waaaaaaay back in the day.

Just made my pledge and can't wait to see the finished product.

I don't think they can guarantee you'll get it the same time as the folks in the US, but they will ship it alongside the rest, and you should get it well before it hits stores.

Is there a dedicated area for discussion of the game in terms of any possible changes/additions to the original? I'd be interested to know if anything is planned in terms of changes to the map, rules, counter manifest, etc.

The game isn't being dramatically changed. This is designed to be a classic release, following the look and feel of the original editions.

There are additional counters though according to the most recent update. More civilian ships and a bunch of different colors of corvettes (for racing scenarios).

Yes. There are no dramatic changes to the game. Many of the components look the same. Steve added a few minor additions, but there's nothing that makes major changes to the game.

The Kickstarter project is the best place to look for info:

Bigger map, more and bigger counters. But it is the classic game. Actual rules changes are few and far between. Light gravity is clarified, torpedoes are somewhat nerfed, a campaign game is added.
