Oh, so they are putting all the names on the box? Given the logistical issues, I assumed that there was just going to be a personalised printing with just your name. I'm happy either way, but yeah, that's going to be pretty crazy.

That's what I assumed they meant from the start, though having my name on everyone's copy would be pretty cool.

Actually, that never occurred to me. Given that a print run doesn't stop so they can retool the printer every box, I wonder how that would work? I just assumed we were moving into microdot territory now, since I really think they thought $200K was way more than they were likely to get in the beginning (a fond dream, you might say), and now, here we sit, slowly grinding our way towards twice that much.

Which would be infinitely undesirable compared to the microprinting concept.

I don't think either is likely. Rather it will be printed on the sides of the box bottom, as advertised.

I run a digital printer, on which it is child's play to print a different name on every piece. However, I've no idea if such a beast exists on the scale necessary to use for something as large as the OGRE box. (In fact, I've no idea how boxes are printed, period. I was assuming that the images are printed on thin paper, then laminated on to the cardboard, rather than running the coated cardboard through a printer.)
