I suppose I should take steps toward it, and that would call for a stealth roll...
Stealth=IQ-5=14 Roll 3 I critically succeed. However, still keeping the bow aimed, so I assume that means I'm moving slower than everyone else. (Actually I'm not sure on this, there is a penalty for moving faster than move 1. Maybe there is a similar penalty for moving with a weapon ready?) Regardless keeping an arrow on the boar comes before movement.

Your movement while aiming is limited to a single step per action.

ooc: There's a pretty good chance I can hit with my crossbow from here, and I don't want to take a chance on stealth if I don't have to so Marcus will just aim for now.

Rorik says,"I'll draw its attention and you kill it. Don't miss." Rorik drops his old shield and takes up his spear. Looking at Astrid and Martel he winks and stealths up to it.

Stealth 13 or less (3d6=7) made it by 6!

Considering the boar's preoccupation and understandable confidence, that first stealth roll gets the leading hunters to just within spear-hurling distance.

Marcus has remained at 60 yards, Martel has carefully closed to 40 yards, while the others are all at 20 yards from the boar, who is facing slightly away from the group and greedily chewing up roots or something. Just at the moment, everyone has a clear shot at the boar -- any attempt by Rorik, Artemis or Astrid to move closer will require another Stealth attempt with a -5 penalty.

Astrid crawls forward ever-so-slowly on her stomach, pausing whenever she sees the boar's ears twitch.

moving at 1/8 speed = 8s/yd = 15yd in 2 minutes (if everyone else waits that long, she'll stop there)
Stealth 16 -5(distance) +3(extra time) = 14, roll 9

Rorik waits for the others to get a couple seconds of aim time in and then steps out into site and begins aiming himself.

Stealth roll to quietly step into view after others aim for 2 seconds.3d6=9 missed it by 1

The boar spins with surprising speed for something its size. Glowering at Rorik, it splays its front feet out and lowers its massive head -- it is as ugly as anything you've ever seen and twice as mean. It bellows an earsplitting challenge that sounds somewhere between a squeal and the noise of a distant earthquake. From this distance, you can see that it must weigh nearly a ton and and has battle-scarred tusks as big as your arm. However, it does seem focused on Rorik and shows no sign that it has noticed anyone else.

There is a brief pause, allowing you the choice of action...

Everyone from this point has a clear shot, SM 2, no lighting penalties yet. Astrid does not have a chance to sneak closer before Rorik's move, so is still at 20 yards; she is not completely behind the beast and so can see the eye on one side, but the boar's brow ridges effectively provide the eye some cover from this angle, so such a shot is iffy.
