"draw a card face-down"
What does it mean to "draw a card face-down"? I understand that I would literally draw the card with the back of that card (the picture of the Door or the Treasure, depending on the situation) facing me, but then what? Do I put it in my hand face-down? Wouldn't that let everyone see it? When do I get to see it?

It means you see it but you don’t have to show everyone else. Drawing face up means that you have to show everyone what you draw before putting it in your hand.
