Exactly, when you think of the game materials that were part of the 'great leap forward' for table top rpg's ca. 75-80, very little of what you remember has to do with the details of rules, other than some broad concepts. The lasting impact was the creative meat - monsters, spells, dungeons, cities.

Thanks! I think we may have mentioned it before, but we're treating the line as a game line. Emphasis on the items that can be used at the table, during a session. It's good to hear our approach is working for some.

As I’m in the UK and can’t join the KS I can’t post comments there so I’ll try here: is there a list of the “Old School Monsters” included in the book?

There was an unboxing video posted to SJG's twitch channel -- https://www.twitch.tv/videos/808631539 -- it goes page by page through the book so you end up getting a look at everything included.

Two things:

1. There is a PDF reward.
2. Preorders are open on Warehouse 23 for the $125 level. Preorders placed during the campaign funding period will include unlocked stretch goals.
