Re: Flame throwers for Electric cars?
I saw this, and ran it past an associate of mine who owns a flamethrower (as well as enough other firearms to take over Jamaica); he was, to put it mildly, unimpressed -- apparently, it's a glorified brush-clearer with some bits grafted on.

Re: Flame throwers for Electric cars?
I’ve been following this XM42 flamethrower development for a while, the modular version seems very car-mountable.
Their discussion about the US legality of personal flamethrowers is interesting. They’re marketed as ‘brush burning torches’, and apparently are not meant for warding off tailgaters!

Re: Flame throwers for Electric cars?
Real flamethrowers are legal pretty much everywhere in the U.S. with two states requiring minor hurdles for those shooting past 10 feet or so.
But those are extremely expensive and obviously not as deadly as guns or gas bombs.

Musk's is just a brush burner. The video only seemed to show about a 3-4 ft flame. I've used some Propane Brush Burners that had about 10 ft of range nothing as far as the XM42. |

I think that Musk has determined that zombies are flammable, and is trying to prepare his users for the inevitable mutation of the flu.

Maybe a d5 with the following sides... 2 brains 2 brains 1 brain 1 feet 1 Flame Thrower (= 3 shotguns) Musk is a bit odd, he needs an odd sided die. |
