Default Dumb Question on Ritual Path Magic

Would levitating objects in a slow and controlled manner use Path of Energy (for kinetic energy) or Path of Matter (Body for living things), or require both?

I assume that Path of Energy will do. That's based on what that magic system is derived from. However, if I was GMing, and someone got creative and did it the other way, I'd simply allow they did the same thing in a different way. As for useing both together, that would allow levitation of large fragile objects, like buildings, without damage.

It'd require either. You can use Greater Control Matter to move an object directly or Create Create Energy to conjure up enough kinetic force to move an object. And, of course, you have to add in energy for subject weight, range, and duration.

Either works, and of course I knew that weight, range, and duration would matter. I was just uncertain about using kinetic energy to move something in a slow and steady manner as opposed to flinging it about like a poltergeist, but it's nice to know that the system is this flexible.
