Default Bullrog's movement

In our last Munchkin Quest we got into a huge argument and I, for the first and only time, had to pull the "I own the game - I tell you what is right as stated in the rules when a big loud fight has occured".

In the rule book you have open passageways, doors, locked doors and hidden doors. According to another thread huge monsters can't pass through any type of door.

The Bullrog, however, can smash the locked doors making the open passageways. It mentions nothing about regular doors (just called "doors") on the card. Logically you could argue it can also smash the regular doors but we always take the rules literally as it's not a game where you're supposed to interpret the rules.

Has this been discussed before? Do you guys go for the logical principle that also regular doors can be smashed or do you go for the non interpreted version that it only smashes locked doors but not regular doors.

The Bullrog is officially too stupid to realize that it could also smash unlocked doors, so it cannot move through them.
