Proposal for Standardized Color-Coding in GURPS Supplements
My first post here, and with my luck either already discussed or in the wrong thread. Not seeing it, though, I shall ask:
I am an old GURPS hand. Hey...I bought my Roleplayer Magazines new. :P I do like GURPS 4e, for which I have only the Characters book so far. One thing I noticed is the colored borders for the different topics. I like. Can we see some standardization on that for future GURPS supplements? In other words, if I am looking for the equipment in GURPS Space 4e, do I look for the pages with the turquoise border? Bright red for templates? Olive for the introduction? Ditto for GURPS Magic 4e? I hope so. |

Definitely unimportant, but a nice little affordance, I figured. Though I don't know how far SJG could extend that to lots of books. Only so far as books actually share big sections covering similar topics, I suppose. But when a book does have a skills-related section, sure, I'd vote to make it purple(ish) unless there's reason not to do so. And red(dish) for character basics, and blue(ish) for advantages or equipment, and...

Good idea, but it feels about 20 years too late.
