Unequipped items
When an item in play can't be equipped for some reason, does it have to be turned sideways or can it stay normally among the other equipped items but just not get any bonus from it?

Re: Unequipped items
The purpose of turning it sideways is to display to the other players that that card is not giving you a bonus. You should not be mis-representing your cards by displaying them incorrectly.

Re: Unequipped items
I know..The only reason I asked is to have an item ready for use in case my "status" during a battle changes because at the time I would not be able to un-turn it and equip it.
Thank you! |

Re: Unequipped items
You cannot change the status of your Items during a battle unless you have a card that specifically says otherwise.

Re: Unequipped items
In other words, turn it sideways. Doing anything else could be considered cheating. Obviously, one-shot Items are an exception to going from unused to used, as the rules allow for them to be used from the hand or from the table during a combat.
