Extremely subjective thread derailments ?
I am very very confused about how in a Thread about 'Royal Blood' , my mentioning very distant shared ancestry is derailment ?
Or being distantly related to current : a former Prime Minister can possibly cause any problems ? It might be a cross cultural thing or a totally different sent of humorous values , but I just can't get it . AND as soon as I reply to a previous infraction notice another two pop up !! Is this some of technical thing that I've missed ? Perhaps after I've slept it'll be clearer . Goodnight & I hope this can be very easily resolved soon .

Re: Extremely subjective thread derailments ?
I'm the original poster on the thread "How much for royal blood?"
Yes, there were two or three posts that got a little off track, but that happens. I've done that myself before I realized it. So really, to me this is no big deal; I don't have a problem with it. I do appreciate that people do keep an eye on things around here. This is one place we can have fascinating discussions without things quickly degrading on a regular basic. So thanks for that!

Re: Extremely subjective thread derailments ?
Apparently it was a 'politics' thing . I've messaged back it was NOT a politics thing but a comedy thing - I used a Ricky Gevais punchline at end of my post !
Found it quite ironic really as I haven't been able to vote in UK since 2013 ! Got EXTREMELY paranoid too , as I felt as though my typing was being read as I was slowly typing it and feeling I was being deliberately picked on for daring to politely resolve the situation ! Being bedbound & in pain - and getting five hours sleep previous 61 did not help at all , as you can imagine ... Thanks guys & everyone & hopefully all this will be resolved with Mods etc soon :-)

Re: Extremely subjective thread derailments ?
Posting a comment about which candidates you do and don't intend to vote for is a political derailment, particularly in these contentious times. Err on the side of not commenting on politics on these forums, even in jest, and you should be fine.
