Buildings in TFT
Hi everyone. It seems to me that the one thing missing for TFT has been stats for any sort of construction or buildings. Castkes, houses, village shacks... there's nothing I am aware of other then rules for doors.
This would also come in handy for sieges etc. Do such rules exist somewhere? And if not do people have any ideas? |

Re: Buildings in TFT
I think the closest thing there is, is the Tunneling rules, which can be extrapolated from for trying to dig through or under walls.
But I agree it would be nice to have more on the topic. |

Re: Buildings in TFT
Any building will have a ST rating around the value given by my formula (check my TFT house rules via link in my sig) and armor given by type of construction.
Reduce ST to zero and the overall structure will collapse. You don't need to break through all of the walls of a tower to topple it.

Re: Buildings in TFT
This is the sort of subject that would be a welcome component of a set of skirmish/mass combat rules. Anything like that would effectively be a new 'game within a game', but if it were engineered to mesh with core TFT it could merge pretty seamlessly.
p.s., when I clicked on this thread I imagined the OP was going to focus on how hard it is to make TFT maps of building interiors that don't look weird. Maybe we need a second thread on that! |

Re: Buildings in TFT
I have submitted a scenario about a cult that suffers from the bizarre delusion that the world is made out of four foot wide hexagons and so marks off the floors of their buildings in this pattern.

Modern investigations inform us that the world is really made of triangles textured with bitmaps, each associated with a coefficient of friction and a still-ill-defined entity the mystics have labeled a "shader". |
