Default Anti-Dragon Sword

I'm making a dragon slayer who wields dragon's fire to kill dragons, wielding a sword that absorbs dragon's fire. I obviously am using energy reserve (dragon's fire) on the character, but how would I enchant the sword to absorb any and all dragon's fire so I can use it in innate attacks? I'm making the sword as an ally with gadget limitations, and I've already created most of the sword, but how would I create a leech that absorbs the fire without risk of the fire harming him? I figure he uses parry to block the fire coming at him, but how would it absorb it? BTW, it is fine if the sword keep the fire inside of it or I directly absorb the fire, both work.

According to Powers it looks like requiring a successful Active Defense roll looks like a -40% limitation.
