Skeletal stock
The staff has an extradimensional storage space, inside this there is a tightly packed skeleton, upon command the skeleton will emerge and wield the staff.

I think you need to be touching part of the staff, probably the 12ft hockey stick is all you really need so you can clothesline guys 4 hexes apart by running between them. A second one might not actually be useful come to think of it.

Rotary Autowand screw

This threaded area at the end of the staff rotates when a handle is turned. It attaches to a device containing 6 wands, all pointing in the same direction, which activate when at a specific point of the rotation.

When assembled the rotary system allows the wands to spray spells at exceptional speed in a general direction, though due to the awkwardness of the hand crank mechanism aiming is not particularly effective.
