Discarding class during battle

Ex. There is a monster level 10 and gains +5 against warriors. A player warrior level 8 throws 3 cards to get the +3 bonus. After that he discards the class. Will he win the battle or the bonus applies only when you have the class?

Activating the Warrior's ability requires being a Warrior. After the discards have been made and the ability used, you keep the bonus with or without your class.

No, because you can't discard a class card to power that class's ability (unless the card specifically says so). That's in the FAQ as well.
