Fair enough. It's just that diesel engines can burn basically anything fluid and sufficiently flammable. You can pour grease from a McDonald's frier into one and get it to run.

You probably won't meet emissions standards, and you might damage it a little, but it'll run.

Essential Lignum vitae?

Why not have the Plant grow 1/3 the speed of the actual wood? Hard woods grow slower, Essential woods even more right?

Most of the "Ironwood" plants have 'mystical' uses. Perhaps these ARE essential wood plants?

DUN DUN DUUUNNNN!

Maybe every wood is an essential grass? Maybe it is essential all the way down?
