Default Ogrezine 2

Did I somehow miss when they sent the actual PDF files out?
I got the updates for the articles but I don't have the final product and I notice that it isn't in Warehouse 23 yet either.

Thanks.

The collection is in the final stages of review and not yet ready.

Today's DI covers all active Kickstarter campaigns. Ogrezine 2 delays are now on me. I need to sit down with the team on Monday and give final instructions.

Saw something about a printed version on twitter. Looking forward to that.

That was a very limited proof we ran to investigate the printer -- great work! -- and so that Steve and Drew would have something to share at FnordCon.

There is a planned print collection of the first two volumes. We've not yet released that.

Just got the Ogrezine II download. Looks like half the Iron Mountain scenario is missing (the space now being occupied by the "Shuriken Counter Reskin")

Also, it's a little disappointing that none of the rules questions/balance issues for the scenario were addressed (maybe that could be a future article?).

Print proof looks OK (here is where I'm thankful for having shelled out for one beyond the collectible factor). Checking the PDF now, and then grabbing The Ogre Book to check rules text. Gimme a sec.

I think the discrepancy is that it's a picture of Mat M2, rather than the original Iron Mountain map, which if memory serves is a touch shorter vertically.

Edit: Comparing The Ogre Book to Ogrezine II, I see what you mean. Rules 10-14 (as they were in 1977) are missing. Will wait for Drew or Phil to chime in to see if that was intentional or not.

#10 is now rules as written [because they're D0 units]
#11 is gone, and I don't see any notes about it elsewhere. Possibly removed.
#12 is rules as written
#13 I don't see noted anywhere
#14 I don't see notes elsewhere.

I'm wondering if 13 and 14 are an oversight, as it's "who goes first", win conditions, and the tread damage note.

Edit #2: I am wrong about the map dimensions. It is the same height, but the mat is a bit wider.

Arghh!!!

You are absolutely right. The text in the individually released version has the missing material.

Time to fix it . . .

Glad Dsal caught it now! PDFs are easy to fix, dead tree editions are forever.

Agreed!!

As bad as this is for me, it would have been SO much worse once the combined POD version was available.
