Default Race/class question

from FAQ

Q. Can I replace my current Class* with the same Class* to avoid Charity?
A. You can discard a Class* at any time. You can play a Class* at any time on your turn. There's no requirement that the new Class* be different from the old one. So, yes.

if I discharge a class during a combat (secondary question: do the monster/s lose their related-class-bonuses against you?), is possible to equip a new class during the same battle? (third question:and maybe use the new class abilities?)

is the same for races?

thank you

Default Re: Race/class question

You can discard a Class and play a new Class during a combat on your turn. (You can discard any time, but you can't play a new one if it's someone else's turn right then.) Whether you would get both Classes' effects would depend on what those effects were. Generally, discard-driven bonuses remain in effect, because you paid the cost of them when you discarded, but bonuses that are intrinsic to the Class don't persist when the Class goes away.

Yes, all of this is true for Races.
