Default movement

Monsters can't pass through rooms they've already seen on that movement turn. But can players? Can I go back and forth between two rooms until my movement is up if I so choose?

Doesn'tthe rules say somewhere that you do not have to spend all your move? (It sounded like that was what youwhere after).

I'm just worried about being trapped between two rooms, both with monsters in them, and the only available run-away rooms are each other. So you lose to a monster, run away to a room with a monster, lose to it, and run back to the original room. Basically having two monsters defeat you over and over until you die. I have seen the board set up where there was one available room to run away to, and a monster in it.
