Default MH Ritual Path variant

I posted an earlier version under the WOD forum but I think only those interested in WOD were looking and that thread covered several things.
I would appreciate some feedback on this variant magic system so am reposting it under its own label.
It is more limited then the existing one. What is good or bad about the concept in the hive minds opinion? And what would be good to add or change, especially if you think there is a power Vampires just have to have that this leaves out.
I can see other types of lists for other races, I might do tree magic this way for example. Or tarot.
But this spell set is for Vampires :)
The gods named were ones who fell in the war to Ancient Vampire like gods.
I can always add a few more or take some away.


Blood Based (Vampires)
Mastered: Vampires only
Description: Vampires have the ability to store and draw power from blood. This can be used in a variety of ways but is limited to having certain lineage.
Requirements: Bloodline (Unusual Background), Vampire
Vampires have access to unusual powers based in part on their ancestry. A vampire may start off with one bloodline, that being the one of its creator. However over time other powers may be acquired through a special ritual where the Vampire completely drains its blood pool and then fills it completely up from another clan. This must be done three times in a row.
Bloodlines
Bacchus (Drunken revelry), Bala (Strength, Earth), Deimos (Fear), Fenris (Wolf), Juno, Leto (Obscurement), Lilith (Enthralment, Seduction), Orion (Hunting), Poseidon (Water, Earthquakes), Proteus (Shapechange, Prophecy), Set (Animals)

Symphony of The Blood
Vampiric magic allows its user to buy special powers from the list for the appropriate blood line and it allows working of spells.
The magic system works similar to the Ritual Path System described in GURPS Monster Hunters 1 with the following changes.
Eliminate all the paths listed in that book and replace them with the ones below. Energy Accumulation is only available from either the Vampires blood pool and the blood of sacrifices or live donations done at the time of the casting. These sacrifices do not need to be voluntary as long as they are physically helpless, the Vampire drains the energy using his Vampiric bite.
Vampires have to buy Ritual Adept (Vampire) to avoid the normal penalties.
Each Bloodline is treated as a Path M/VH and the Controlling skill is Thaumatology (Vampiric Lore) and the appropriate blood talent applies.

Bacchus: Drunken revelry, addiction and partying like no tomorrow is the province of this line. Lesser effects include bonuses to carousing and party related reactions, as well as affects on those with addictions or approriate disadvantages such as Lecherousness to make a control roll possibly with penalties. Greater effects can induce people to party and even lose all inhibitions or force appropriate mental disadvantages on them.

Bala: Physical strength and the natural earth and soil. Lesser effects allow enhancement of strength and subtle or believable changes to the body or earth. Greater effects allow connecting two points on earth as if with a gate.

Deimos: Fear and terror were the hallmark of this felled god. Projecting fear into the targets mind is a Lesser effect for animals and a Greater effect for sentient minds.

Fenris: A fierce wolf. Lesser effects include subtle changes like enhanced smell or subtle physical abilities. Greater effects include taking on more blatant wolf aspects, up to and including full or partial morphs.

Juno: Jealousy and bickering were what was taken from this former Goddess of fertility and her power also controls the blood. Projecting Jealousy or Discord into the targets mind is a Lesser effect for animals and a Greater effect for sentient minds. Lesser effects affect the caster, his blood pool and conditional spells. Greater effects can involve another vampires magic or powers or tie magic permanently to a place or object.

Leto: This bloodline are given the power to hide. Lesser effects include subtle benefits to stealth and wards against scrying. Greater effects are blatant disappearing from view and making people forget things.

Lilith: Enthralment and seduction are the province of this line. Lesser effects are subtle boosts to seduction and Erotic Art skills and reactions. Greater effects include outright emotion control and forced devotion.

Orion: A former god of the hunt he aids in hunting prey. Lesser effects include sensing or tracking anyone your hunting and enhancing stamina. Greater effects include movement towards your prey and combat speed.

Poseidon: God of the sea and earthquakes. Lesser effects include sensing what is on or in the sea and subtle, localized and believable changes to water. Greater effects include enhanced sea movement, connecting two points of ocean (not lakes or lesser bodies of water) and dramatic or blatant changes to water.

Proteus: Scion of Poseidon this god could change shape and see the future. Lesser effects can include Divination of vague things, such as predicting the weather. Greater effects allow more precise and specific things to be predicted and also covers change of form.

Set: God of deserts and the wild, especially the creatures of the night. Lesser effects include sense and minor control of animals, including if appropriate even to attack.. Greater effects include full control of animals such as getting them to attack or behave unnaturally.
