Cthulu 4 dungeon question

First, allow me to pat myself on the back for being the first forums user to ask a question about Cthulu 4's Caverns, which, by the way, are completely awesome and will likely soon become my favorite expansion.

Anyway, on to the question

One of the Dungeons, the Shoe Store, triples the bonus of all footgear. However, this led to a debate by my friends and I before we even started the game: If someone has an item enhancer on their footgear, say a +3 enhancer on a +2 footgear, is the total bonus given 9 (2x3 + 3) or 15 ([2+3] x 3)?

I said 9 because things like Fire Arms, when enhanced, are added to the total after multipliers. My friends disagreed for various reasons, ranging from statements such as "That makes no sense" to "The item enhancer is added to the footgear, so it would have to be 15."

Also, allow me to state once again how much I love this set.

Fire Arms is not the best example for you to use here, since it has a variable bonus. The bonus of an Item Enhancer changes the final bonus of the Item, so the answer is 15 in your case.

I’m going chime in on praising the crazed caverns… we enjoyed it, minus the player that was killed by crevasse of the cthonians . I do have a question (not related to the op’s though, I hope it is alright) the portal ditched! states that if a certain dungeon is not in play find it as reshuffle all dungeon cards in play. This includes discards correct?
