Default Dungeon woes (spoilers for I Smell a Rat)

So I'm about half way through I smell a Rat in my in-store drop in game. Unfortunately, i can only rely on 2 or 3 players now until exams are over (Holy Warrior, Swashbuckler, and maybe a Barbarian) and the HW is sitting at zero hp. They just finished emptying the library (where I'll probably plant a 2d healing potion), they have an angry flesh golem pounding on the door across the hall (they opened it and then quickly locked it up again.

Any suggestions for the rest?

My group retreated to town twice for Temple healing, that's only $2 per point. Resting in the inn overnight is still fair game too once you clear the cellar.

Although you did actually dig around the rune lined hallway.

Hmm, they didn't think of that but they might have to dig through the collapse in the rough tunnel - they didn't find the smugglers' den and the Swashbuckler, of all people, triggered a rather nasty cave-in.

You could give the smugglers den to them in order to keep things moving, then withhold a point since you had to cheat to move things along.

Well, the Swashbuckler does have Serendipity which didn't get used last session.
