I kind of liked her myself but many people think they jumped the shark. Myself I only got to the third season.

Both baseball and football have an esoteric strategic side to them too which has a potential nerdy appeal.

Also the nerd parents can show them a bit of HEMA or take him to an SCA convention.

I did too, but the writing started out interesting but shaky. Though it jumped down the drain when Sorbo gained too much control.

The bookish, gamer, and so on nerd with Krav Maga training. Possibly because s/he was bullied and decided "no more" and started to learn to fight back.

The gay/lesbian/bisexual who doesn't make any kind of deal about it. They are neither showing up at Gay Pride parades, nor are they ashamed of it and in the closet, it's just that they put much more emphasis on whatever hobby or schooling than they put on being LGB, and unless you spy on them and find out what kind of porn they look at, or actually ask them, or if you strike their fancy and ask them out, you'd never know.

The walking lesbian/gay/bisexual cliché who's actually hetero.

The cheerful Goth. S/he's just very sensitive to bright lights (it's common for autistic people to be sensitive to every kind of stimuli) and as such prefers dark places, and muted/dark colors, but don't let that fool you, s/he is very sweet and will animate your party like no other, as long as you set it when it's dark.

Abby Scuito. Though she is not autistic or light sensitive that we know of.

An Israeli who is a bookish fellow, who is reasonably fit and willing to fight when need be but does not in fact know ten different ways to kill someone with a paper clip.

A private detective who is a faithful family man, goes to Church or Synagogue or whatever, and only drinks mildly.

A Canadian who is fiercely nationalistic, obsessed with "heritage" and picks a fight with anyone who is perceived to have insulted his country.

A Scotsman who is not a Highlander.

An Action Girl who does not go in for tactical idiocy and cluncks bad guys with cobblestones from behind.

A male action hero who does not go in for tactical idiocy and cluncks bad guys with cobblestones from behind.

A government assassin that does not wreck cars, and saves bars and women for his off hours. And prefers his vodka martini stirred not shaken.

An aristocrat that goes to balls and fancy parties not because he/she thinks it a sign of his importance but because genuine friends are there.

Ah, the riches of English culture! We have two Scottish stereotypes. One is the Highlander, and the other is the incomprehensible Glaswegian.

You're not likely to find an autistic who "lights up your party" (people are a stimulus, too, and a particularly exhausting one at times), but I do know some people not on the spectrum who just like the way they look in dark clothing.

(Classic example came from one of the old WoD sourcebooks, devoted to the "lesser" groups in the various games - in the segment about the Orphans from Mage: the Awakening, one of the older mages at the meeting asked the new kid why he was dressed all in black. New kid gave the stereotyped responses about rejection of social norms, alienation, and "signifying the void". The older mage replied, "Really? I wear black because I think it looks good.")

MacGyver did a lot of that, if my vague memory of TV from my youth serves (usually in conjunction with a techno-trick, such as using it as a distraction so he could clobber someone from behind).
