Default Homogeneous wounding modifiers

Hi to all,
Exploits pag 55 is pretty clear in detailing what are the new wounding modifiers for piercing and impaling attacks to homogeneous targets.
It does not says anything for other forms of attacks so we can assume no change to the basic rules, but it says also: "Ignore all knockdown and wounding modifiers for hit location."

So I expect to get for cuts a flat x1,5, for crushing attacks a flat x1, and for corrosion x1 (all the locations).

Instead in the table at page zero i find:
corrosion x1,5 face, neck and skull; x1 other
crushing x2 neck; x1 other
cut x2 neck; x1,5 other.

can someone explain this apparent incongruence to me?
Is there any errata?

Thanks
Giuseppe

It looks like it actually means "ignore all location modifiers for impaling or piercing damage".

Thanks!!
